Curiosity and Contests
Color our World with Stories!
Parents’ Choice Award-winning author and storyteller Mark Binder levels levels up by sharing books and stories (and songs) from around the world.
Mark’s programs can be targeted for families, younger audiences, or older children – and will always adjust based on the age group on the event’s date.

"Mark Binder is a master at spinning old tales and everyday events linked to childhood into storytelling gold."
- Parents' Choice Gold Medal for Audio Storytelling

For Families, Adults and Children

Year-round and summer programming too… having a storyteller who's an author will both brighten the faces of listeners AND encourage reading!

Plus so many other themes…

Silly Stories for Spring (or summer) • Autumn/Spooky • Family Stories • A Holiday Present • Jewish Folktales • Tall Tales • Stories for Peace • Camp and Campfire Stories • Loki Ragnarok and more

Every program is adapted to be appropriate to the ages of the audience who show up on the day of the event.

With younger groups it's storytelling and song. With older or mixed audiences, weaving a blend of reading, storytelling, song, and Q/A, Mark captures attention and takes young and older readers on a journey with imagination. Everyone is transported.

Mark's programs are typically 45 minutes long. He has both indoor and outdoor sound systems available.
(RI Artists Educators • NH Kids Books and the Arts • NY BOCES • Creative Ground and more.)
