Marlon Carey is a Poet , Educator, Actor, Communicator and Entertainer. He has been writing and performing for most of his life. He has published books, produced hiphop CDs, been in plays and short films and facilitated workshops. He was a DJ for his own weekly radio show, and is the co-founder of Shakespeare to Hip hop, a group focused on English language presentations and workshops for kids of all ages. He’s also a storyteller and a member of RIBS - the Rhode Island Black Storytellers, and Brothers Keeper Poetry theater Ensemble. Also known as Hip hop artist Inphynit DaGhost, Marlon weaves a tapestry of amazing and introspective work dealing with a myriad of topics. When he is not onstage, he is a full-time father of three amazing children, caretaker of four naughty cats, and husband to one very patient wife.
